Mauna Loa: We know that Mauna Loa is erupting, and we are closely monitoring the situation.  At this time, there is no disruption to travel.  The eruption is moving slower and in the opposite (and best possible direction according to locals) from the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

Dec 1st Update: Mauna Loa has been more active as of the afternoon of Nov. 30th however we are not seeing anything that has changed or affected travel. Things continue to be stable and the meeting planned to continue, business as usual.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and while we do not expect any disruption to our Q4 2022 meeting, we will let you know if anything changes.

Most of you are aware that late in the evening of November 27 Hawaii Standard Time, Mauna Loa awoke from slumber, erupting for the first time since 1984.  Mauna Loa is located near the center of the Big Island of Hawaii, far from Waikoloa Village where we will hold our Q4 meeting next week. As such, our meeting plans are unchanged, and we look forward to seeing you next week.

For those wishing more information about the Mauna Loa eruption:
