| Led by: Joey Boyd, Ken Kerpez
Attendees: WT-355 YANG Modules for FTTdp Management: 2017.446 - Changes for inclusion in WT-355c2. The following items were discussed: - Line 380 in bbf-fast-pointers.yang, agreed to update description
Line 434 in bbf-vdsl-impulse-noise-protection-delay-profile-body.yang, agreed to deprecate upstream mdosplit and explain in the description that upstream + downstream = 100% so that's why upstream was deprecated. Line 476 in bbf-vdsl-impulse-noise-protection-delay-profile-body.yang, agreed to deprecate upstream and fix description Line 504 in bbf-vdsl-impulse-noise-protection-delay-profile-body.yang, agreed to deprecate upstream and fix description Line 119 in bbf-vdsl-line-spectrum-profile-body.yang, no change agreed Line 137 in bbf-vdsl-line-spectrum-profile-body.yang, agreed to add default "all" to power-management-mode Line 202 in bbf-vdsl-line-spectrum-profile-body.yang, agreed to add must statement: l2-maximum-aggregate-power-reduction-per <= l2-maximum-aggregate-power-reduction-total Line 253 in bbf-vdsl-mode-specific-psd-profile-body.yang, not agreed, no change made to upstream_psd_mask_selection - Agreed to add text to OD-360 noting that backward compatibility is more important than changing style issues.
Line 152 in bbf-vdsl-noise-margin-profile-body.yang, agreed to expand the must statement for maximum-noise-margin by adding: or (max == "unbounded") Line 370 in bbf-vdsl-pointers.yang, leaf line-config-vector, no change agreed Line 380 in bbf-vdsl-pointers.yang, threshold-template, agreed to add to description field: "If no template is configured, then TCA reporting is disabled." Line 103 in bbf-vdsl-virtual-noise-profile-body.yang, grouping vn-descriptor, agreed to make max-elements be 16 for upstream and 32 for downstream Line 167 in bbf-vdsl-virtual-noise-profile-body.yang, virtual-noise-profile (downstream), agreed to add a must statement so that there cannot be a single element Line 219 in bbf-vdsl-virtual-noise-profile-body.yang, virtual-noise-profile (upstream), agreed to add a must statement so that there cannot be a single element Line 270 in bbf-vdsl-xtu-band-status-body.yang, upbo-electrical-length-pbn, agreed to add to description "For ADSL systems, a single parameter is defined for band = 0, as a single band is usable." Line 302 in bbf-vdsl-xtu-line-status-body.yang, profile, agreed to remove config false; (other spurious config false; occurrences should also be searched and destroyed) Line 420 in bbf-vdsl-xtu-line-status-body.yang, attndr-actual-method, agreed to change valid range to 0..2
There were some additional rows in the contribution that were inadvertently copied, were redundant, and not addressed. It was agreed to create a WT-355 Corrigendum 2, post it on Bitbucket, and proceed to a rapid straw ballot
2017.485.01 - Awareness of new FTU Management Counter - Notes that a new counter is being defined by the ITU for G.fast: All Normal Operation Interval (NOI) Error Free Throughput (ANDEFTR). This is likely to be consented by the ITU in June, there is no action by the BBF at this time but we should be ready for it.

General 2017.485.01 - Awareness of new FTU Management Counter - Presented by Chris Croot (BT)
- It has been presented at FTTdp session.
- This contribution is to make attendees of the work area aware that there is a new parameter being proposed for addition to ITU-T Recommendation G.997.2 that could be of benefit to include in some of the work of the BBF
- For information only
WT-301 Arch and Req for FTTdp: 2017.493.01 - DPU daisy chaining - Presented by Dave Thorne (BT)
- Various topics were suggested as candidates for an Issue 3 of TR-301 (FTTdp) in BBF2017.251. One of these was the idea of daisy chaining DPUs to reduce backhaul costs. This contribution provides further details of that architecture and its implications for the DPU.
- The author did not ask for agreement at this time
2017.496 - Alternative DPU backhaul - Presented by Dave Thorne (BT)
- This contribution proposes reconsideration of multi-pair bonded VDSL as a possible G.fast DPU backhaul
- The author did not ask for agreement at this time
i2 FTTdp on Common G.fast and RPF: No contribution
FTTdp Management Interop and Testing OD-379 Interoperability Test Plan for FTTdp PMA/DPU Management Interface: 2017.452 - Copper Interface Status test proposal - Presented by Ken Kerpez (ASSIA, Orange)
- This contribution proposes a simple line status test as an initial check to verify a parameter read
- Agreed to the proposed test procedure without Step 7
Discussion It was mentioned that while contribution 2017.458 "G.fast RPF - PSE noise testing" is for PHYtx, a relevant contribution may be submitted for WT-301 in the future.
SPAC readout 2017.519 - SPAC readout on G.mgfast discussion - Presented by Mauro Tilocca
