A word from Robin Mersh, Broadband Forum CEO:

"As the sun sets on 2019, we find ourselves in Central America for our final quarterly meeting of what has been a successful and important year for Broadband Forum. Panama City has been the setting of our first ‘open’ meeting, representing another significant milestone in our evolution as we further open the broadband ecosystem.

"We have been focused for a number of years on embracing the best of open source and standards development and in mid-October, we voted on amending our by-laws to transform our organization in tandem with the ever-changing broadband industry." Read more.

The Broadband Innovation Group is an incubator for long term or disruptive topics; an exploratory space to road-test and help mature ideas that could be handed off to relevant Broadband Forum Work Areas (WAs).
