The goal is to provide performance requirements between a G.hn Aggregation Multiplexer (GAM) and one or more G.hn Network Terminations (GNTs). The focus is on the device level (DLL and PHY) testing, similar to how TR-380 is defined. This performance test plan will include test setup information, equipment configuration requirements, test procedures, and performance requirements for each test case. A development of Issue 2 is being investigated. TR-301defines the Distribution Point Unit (DPU), for use within the access network. All aspects of the introduction of the DPU into the network are considered and requirements are specified for the DPU and all affected nodes in the access network along with the RPF functionality. Issue 2 Amendment 2 of this Technical Report broadens the applicability of TR-301 to include XGS-PON, NG-PON2, HSP, and 25GS-PON support TR-301defines the Distribution Point Unit (DPU), for use within the access network. All aspects of the introduction of the DPU into the network are considered and requirements are specified for the DPU and all affected nodes in the access network along with the RPF functionality. Issue 3 adds requirements for bulk data collection (using IPFIX) using the data model as defined in Broadband Forum. TBDActive Projects
