The Broadband Innovation Group will host a BBF Birds of a Feather (BoF) session at the Q4 2018 meeting in Glasgow, UK, to address access equipment and CPE powering in ultrafast architectures. With the advent of hybrid fibre-rich ultrafast architectures such as (FTTC/VDSL2/Gfast/co-ax), full-fibre FTTP, and fibre-extension FTTP, the issue of powering network elements becomes key both in terms of forward and reverse powering.
