Definition of an SDN Reference Model
The purpose of this is to augment the WT-359 architectural model with SDN interfaces to address a number of identified use cases. The SD will progress in parallel with WT-359 as to not delay WT-359 completion, and if successful will be incorporated into either the current WT-359 or a "bis" version, at which point the title of 359 would appropriately modified.

WT-280
ITU-T PON in the context of TR-178
WT-280 focuses on GPON systems in an unbundled services environment that addresses requirements not covered by TR-156. TR-156 and WT-247 address basic L2 GPON systems. There are "more complex" types of ONT and Service Providers have more complex requirements that need a reference in BBF GPON framework. ITU standards already cover these more complex functionalities from an OMCI point of view. What is missing are the architectural/functional requirements.

WT-301
Architecture and Requirements for Fiber to the Distribution Point - Issue 2
This Technical Report provides the architectural basis and technical requirements that are needed to deploy FTTdp within a TR-101 and/or TR-178 architecture. To this end a new node type, the DPU, is defined. This node, typically positioned at the Distribution Point (DP), supports one or more high-speed copper drops into the customer premises and uses a gigabit (or faster) fiber link to backhaul user data to a High Order Node (HON). A key aspect of the new node type is the ability for it to be reverse power fed from one or more copper drop pairs. To Reverse Power Feed (RPF), there needs to be power supply functionality at the customer premises, the requirements for which are also defined here.

Virtual Business Gateway
This Working Text specifies architecture and requirements for the virtual business gateway. The virtual business gateway architecture describes the migration of functionalities running on a business gateway to the network service provider's infrastructure for enabling network-based features and services. Such migration is expected to simplify the deployment and management of the network and business services. The purpose of this Working Text is to specify the virtual business gateway architecture as well as deployment scenarios. Such architecture would target different business premises sizes, e.g., small and medium enterprises (SMEs), campus, as well as single office and home offices (SOHO).
WT-331
Architecture & Technical Requirements for PON-based Mobile Backhaul networks
A number of Broadband Forum Technical Reports are dedicated to the description of an Ethernet-based architecture optimized for multi-service PON networks and technical requirements for PON systems catering to both residential and business customers. Based on TR-221, this document extends the architecture and technical requirements to providing enhanced mobile backhaul functionality. These requirements cover system architecture, use cases, technical requirements as well as some implementation guideline, so as to for foster multi-vendor interoperability. The specifications in this document apply to both ITU-T and IEEE PON systems and focus on LTE and LTE advanced.
WT-338

The scope of this Working Text also covers validation of the functionality of the Control, Inventory, and Reported parameters defined in ITU T Recommendation G.997.1 for the related G.993.5 functionality.
WT-345

Building on TR-101 and TR-178, WT-345 documents a set of architectures for broadband multi-service network, addressing infrastructures, topologies and deployment scenarios for Multi-Service Broadband Network Gateway (MS-BNG) with hierarchical instances realized as Virtualized Network Functions (VNF). Starting from such architectural models WT-345 defines the specific requirements necessary to support the addressed infrastructures, topologies and deployment scenarios, in order to fulfill the business requirements defined in TR-144. The main changes introduced in the WT-345 architectures compared to the TR-101 and TR-178 models are:- Implications of scale out- OAM and other Operational aspects- Traffic management and QoS

WT-355
YANG Modules for FTTdp Management
This document defines YANG data models for the management interfaces to support FTTdp. These models are to enable interoperability for FTTdp management.
WT-356
Alternate Management Path for Broadband
This document describes a new method of managing broadband lines using an alternate data channel or path and particularly for diagnosing disconnections. For example, a smartphone can connect to a broadband modem or RG and access diagnostics data to troubleshoot a disconnected broadband line. This connection would be between the LAN side of the RG and the smartphone. The smartphone would then use an app or other system to relay this connection through the 3G/4G network back to a management server. Similarly, a neighboring WiFi connection or another data connection could be used instead of the smartphone relay. Re-configuration of the broadband modem or home network may also be performed over the alternate management path.
WT-359

The purpose of this working text is to establish a framework to permit the Broadband Forum to effectively reference and specify systems such that the deployment of NFV (as defined by the ETSI NFV ISG) in Broadband Forum specified networks is facilitated.
WT-369
User Service Platform (USP)
This document describes the architecture, protocol, and data model that builds an intelligent User Service Platform. It is targeted towards application developers, application service providers, CPE vendors, consumer electronics manufacturers, and broadband and mobile network providers who want to expand the value of the end users network connection and their connected devices. This document describes:The overall architecture of USP Agents, Controllers, and service elementsThe proxy mechanisms for addressing non-USP service elementsRequirements for the transport protocol used to handle USP messages, and defined bindings for specific protocols. The various CUSP messages, their requirements, and expected behavior patterns, along with on-the-wire encoding of CUSP messagesThe protocol requirements for discovery, end-to-end security, authentication, and authorizationAn explanation of the data model and how it is used to enable USP, service elements, proxying, and object defined operationsThe objects necessary to implement USP are described in the Device:2 data model of the CPE WAN Management Protocol, (CWMP).
WT-370
FANS Overall Architecture and Requirements
FANS Overall Architecture and Requirements investigates on the technical aspects associated with Fixed Access Network Sharing (FANS), which covers the Access Network and part of the Customer Network in case of PON architecture, addressing the typical infrastructures, topologies and deployment scenarios. It also provides security considerations necessary to support multi-operator access sharing. This project outlines technical aspects related to the migration of TR-101 and TR-178 based architectures toward a shared converged broadband access network architecture that supports the business drivers defined in SD-351. Besides multi-operator sharing scenarios, this project can be also appropriate for a network operator that wants to slice its access network to offer different services toward customers (e.g., for residential or enterprise markets) and wants to be able to manage it using a vertical organization structure. Furthermore, FANS Overall Architecture and Requirements is the ongoing pilot project for the upcoming activities related to Access Network Sharing interface(s) and SDN-Enabled FANS.

WT-372
Framework-for-multi-management-PON-devices
This document is intended to define a framework for remote management of CPE over various PON access technologies. TR-069 is the protocol of choice used by service providers worldwide for the remote management and configuration of many kinds of broadband CPE. The scope of this document is to detail the applicability to CPE having a PON WAN interface and in particular to clarify the relationship between different management protocols for example TR-069, NETCONF, and OMCI IEEE 802.3ah.The scope of this document addresses any PON device that is managed by different management protocols, for example, Single Family Units, Single Business Units, Multi-Dwelling Units, Multi-Tenant Units, and Distribution Point Units.
