Broadband networks have faced a rapid and unprecedented demand in recent years, and the attention has shifted to focusing on greater levels of Quality of Service and Quality of Experience rather than just high speed. This mirrors the quality and attentiveness from our members into each project and work, with the end-user at the heart of everything we do.It has been great to see massive amounts of work ongoing and many projects proceeding to Straw and Final Ballot. Forum members converged on Antwerp, Belgium, getting together again for our first face-to-face quarterly meeting since March 2020. Presentations and meetings to shape the future of broadband provided endless opportunities to export and import innovative ideas and projects. We would like to extend a special thanks to Nokia for sponsoring this meeting, as well as putting together an excellent social and networking event. Last year, Belgium’s Federal Council of Ministers announced its national broadband plan, which aims to eliminate the remaining white areas where high speed services are unavailable and roll-out new broadband technologies.
