Broadband Forum members converged on Antwerp, Belgium, getting together again for our first face-to-face quarterly meeting since March 2020. Presentations and meetings to shape the future of broadband provided endless opportunities to export and import innovative ideas and projects. We would like to extend a special thanks to Nokia for sponsoring this meeting, as well as putting together an excellent social and networking event. Last year, Belgium’s Federal Council of Ministers announced its national broadband plan, which aims to eliminate the remaining white areas where high speed services are unavailable and roll-out new broadband technologies. Broadband Forum's virtual Q1 meeting was a massive success! During our annual awards ceremony, we recognized a total of 11 individuals for their continued efforts in helping drive innovation and growth in the Broadband Forum and the industry. Congratulations to all our Circle of Excellence and Outstanding Contribution award recipients for all their hard work. Your participation and passion help keep Broadband Forum at the forefront of open standards development. We also recognized three leaders for their dedicated service to the Forum over the years.
